Pond-spec bio block’s size 30x25x2.5cm, the whole filter material can be put directly into the filtration turnover basket. It is more suitable for use in large filtration spaces such as fish ponds, and is easier to daily maintenance.
Experimentally tested pond-spec bio block has a water absorption rate of 117%, greater water absorption means better hydrophilicity of the filter media, richer internal pores, and greater ability to cultivate bacteria.
The large surface area provides ideal colonization conditions for nitrifying bacteria that helps to quickly and effectively reduce ammonia and nitrite, creating healthier pond water quality.
